About a month after the murder: In the Nazareth Magistrate's Court, the police today (Wednesday) extended by eight days the detention of the four suspects in the murder of Sarit Ahmad.

The suspects, four men in their 30s, are not residents of Kisra and are not relatives of the victim, contrary to what has been published so far. A gag order was imposed on the rest of the investigation.
Sarit Ahmad, 18, from the village of Kasra in the Upper Galilee, was shot and killed on Road 8544 near Yarka while riding in her car.
According to preliminary investigation findings, the murder occurred on the basis of the girl's sexual identity. Before the murder, Ahmed was threatened by a relative, and even stayed in a shelter in the south.
