Horrific attack in southern China: A man armed with a knife broke into a kindergarten and stabbed six people to death before being arrested, state media reported Monday. The horrific incident took place in the city of Lianjing in the south of the country.
According to a report in the South China Morning Post, the gunman is a 24-year-old man whose last name is Wu, and he stabbed three adults and three children to death. According to the report, two of those killed were parents and another kindergarten teacher who was killed and another who was wounded in the attack.

Local police told the media that the attacker was arrested by officers who arrived at the scene. Police also said the attack was "premeditated."
Footage posted on social media in the country showed horrific scenes of bodies in the middle of a kindergarten and the evacuation of the wounded. A security camera photo from a nearby compound shows the attacker walking to the scene with a large machete in his hand.
