Republican presidential candidate and Florida gubernatorial candidate Ron DeSantis was involved in a car accident in Tennessee on Tuesday.
DeSantis was on his way to fundraisers in Chattanooga, Knoxville and the Nashville area of southern Tennessee.
DeSantis' spokesman, Brian Griffin, told Fox News, "The governor was in a car accident while driving to an event in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He and his crew were not injured." Griffin thanked the many Americans who were interested in the Republican governor's well-being.

Last month, DeSantis was interviewed by Israel Hayom. In his first interview with the Israeli media, the candidate said that, among other things, "Judea and Samaria are not occupied territory, but disputed territory. Israel has the best case for the future of the territory, and it has the right to act accordingly."
In an exclusive interview with Israeli media, DeSantis lashed out at US President Joe Biden for his treatment of Israel – which he called a "disgrace" – and accused the incumbent administration of "bending Israel's hand."
