Highlights: Likud MK Shalom Danino: "We cannot waste the entire term on just one issue" Danino is not the only member of the party to express his opinion on this. MK Eli Dellal announced last Friday that henceforth he would not lend his hand to a unilateral move by the coalition. MK Yuli Edelstein also issued a similar statement. "In the next stages, we will intervene," MK David Bitan warned. "There is still a chance for compromises," Bitan added.

Knesset Member Shalom Danino noted that in his opinion, "the Law of the Committee for the Selection of Judges should be enacted in a 5-5 formula, preferably by agreement, and stop there."

In the shadow of the growing protests against the legal reform and the continuation of the legislation, Likud MK Shalom Danino addressed the issue of the legal reform on Sunday morning: "We cannot waste the entire term on just one issue."

"In my opinion, the law of the Judicial Selection Committee should be enacted in a 5-5 formula, preferably by agreement, and stop there," he told Ynet radio. "The country is burning, the Likud is burning, it is better to leave the decision regarding the continuation of the elections in October 2026."

Danino is not the only member of the party to express his opinion on this. MK Eli Dellal announced last Friday that henceforth he would not lend his hand to a unilateral move by the coalition. MK Yuli Edelstein also issued a similar statement. Last Wednesday, it was MK David Bitan who attacked his Likud colleagues over the continuation of the legal reform legislation: "In the next stages, we will intervene," he warned.

"We will no longer allow one person to determine what happens," Bitan continued, stressing: "There is still a chance for compromises. The issue of reasonableness is not the important war. There's nothing to it."
