More than 2.5 million passengers passed through Ben Gurion Airport during July, 20% more than in July of last year – an all-time high, according to the Israel Airports Authority.
According to information obtained by Israel Hayom, most days in August there will be about 100,<> passengers a day, so last month's record is expected to be broken.

The queues, the lack of long-term parking spaces and the heavy congestion may affect passengers, as there are already quite a few flights departing late, raising the concern that the trend will continue during August and September, which are also expected to be very busy.
The Airports Authority recommends getting to the airport by public transport, checking in in advance and verifying which terminal exactly your flight is scheduled to depart from.
It should be noted that the most popular destinations among tourists from Israel are Turkey, Greece, USA, Cyprus and Italy.
