Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis announced on Wednesday that those evacuated from the hotel whose holiday was affected by the country's fires will be entitled to a week-long holiday next year in Greece.

The Greek prime minister's announcement comes after tens of thousands were evacuated from various hotels in Rhodes and Corfu, and many were forced to return to their countries with immediate evacuation.
Among the casualties were quite a few British, German and Israeli tourists whose coveted vacation they had waited for a very long time was cut short by the fires.

At the moment, it is still unclear how it will be possible to receive these vacations, and it is likely that a procedure will soon be published that will require proof of damage to the vacation due to the fires, and then compensation can be received, in accordance with the terms of the Greek government.
