Unpleasant news at Maccabi Haifa. 24 hours before the crucial match against Slovan Bratislava in the Champions League qualifiers, Daniel Sundgren's girlfriend, Elin Sunderholm, revealed on Monday that she had suffered an abortion while in advanced pregnancy.
"We are very sad after having our first miscarriage in our lives. We are going through a difficult and painful time, but knowing that after the pain will come happy days," she wrote on Instagram.

In response, Maccabi Haifa sent a bouquet of flowers to the player and his wife and also attached a letter saying: "Dear Aline and Daniel, we hope that the flowers will bring light to your loving home and chocolate to the sweet taste.
