Iran has decided to expel about a third of the UN's nuclear inspectors, in a move that will further undermine the inspection capability of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). IAEA Chairman Rafael Grossi called the decision "disproportionate and unprecedented." That's about a third of the agency's most experienced inspectors, he said.
"I strongly condemn this disproportionate and unprecedented unilateral step, which would undermine the agency's ongoing planning and verification activities in Iran, and which contradicts the cooperation that should exist between the agency and Iran," Grossi said in a statement.
