Security tensions over the holiday escalated Sunday after Palestinians were outraged by the arrival of Jews on the Temple Mount.
One of the footage posted on social networks shows one of the pilgrims to the Temple Mount blowing the shofar. In the attached video (at the bottom of the paragraph), the police are seen evacuating the same person.

On social networks, Palestinian networks began calling for riots and escalation.
Sheikh Akrama Sabri, an Al-Aqsa preacher who participated in the conference alongside Hamas and Hezbollah leaders and is known for his inflammatory rhetoric against Israel, condemned blowing the shofar inside the plaza, saying that "this is a serious thing that testifies to the audacity of the settlers."
Among other things, there is a call to confront IDF forces near the Gaza border, as has happened several times in recent days. On the eve of the holiday, the IDF even attacked a Hamas position in response to the severe riots.
