From the north, the new Israeli airline Air Haifa plans to operate regular low-cost flights throughout the year, from Haifa Airport to Eilat and to a variety of destinations in the Mediterranean basin and the surrounding area at competitive prices.
The company is in the midst of an operational licensing process by the Civil Aviation Authority, having met the conditions for obtaining a commercial license.
The company is founded by a group of Israeli entrepreneurs, headed by Nir Zuk, founder of Palo Alto Networks, Gonen Ussishkin, Lior Yavor and Mickey Strassburger, former El Al executives. The launch of the company's activities is planned for the second half of 2024.

Haifa Airport has a runway suitable for operating 70-seat turboprop aircraft, planes that are no longer operated by any of the Israeli airlines and can fly only for short ranges. It has infrastructure for operating international and domestic flights, a duty-free parking area and cafeteria, and next to it is a free Park and Fly parking lot.
