Earlier today (Thursday) there was a violent riot in the northern Gaza Strip. IDF forces, together with soldiers from the undercover unit of the Southern Border Police, operated on the ground in the face of the disturbance. This is the seventh consecutive day of riots along the Gaza border.

During the disturbance, a terrorist was identified who fired at our forces. Southern Border Police undercover units fired at the terrorist and hit him. There are no casualties to our forces.
It is important to note that the Gaza Health Ministry has not yet officially announced that the terrorist has been killed, but has announced that the terrorist is seriously wounded.
The police said: "Southern Border Police undercover forces thwarted a terrorist who fired at our forces on the Gaza Strip border.
