Southern District soldiers and policemen, including the Israel Police, the Yoav and Border Police Southern Unit unit, the "Migdalor" observation unit and more, acted over the weekend and led to an examination and enforcement action against 23 wedding convoys that included dozens of vehicles and the provision of 26 traffic tickets, including the immobilization of vehicles with safety defects.

In addition, at the end of a police chase, a motorcyclist was arrested for driving without a driver's license on Route 60 against the direction of traffic, endangering the lives of road users. The driver, a resident of Lakiya in his 20s, was arrested in Beersheba, his motorcycle was confiscated and he was taken for interrogation.
