For the 25th anniversary of the US sitcom "The King of Queens", the cast and series co-creator Michael Weithorn met for a virtual table read of a classic episode. Her co-star Jerry Stiller, aka Arthur Spooner, who died in 2020, was also commemorated.
The cast of the comedy "King of Queens" recently reunited with co-creator Michael Weithorn to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the series. In the video, Kevin James (Doug), Leah Remini (Carrie), Patton Oswalt (Spence), Victor Williams (Deacon), Gary Valentine (Danny) and Rachel Dratch (Denise) can be seen ceremoniously table reading the episode Cowardly Lyin' aka "Lies Have Big Legs" (5x19). Co-star Jerry Stiller, who died in 2020 and was known to fans as the old eccentric Arhtur Spoony, was absent, of course. In his honor, however, a video tribute had been prepared, in which his son Ben Stiller, his daughter Amy Stiller, as well as Ray Romano and Ricki Lake also remember the comedian.
