Jorge Martin on Ducati Pramac won the sprint race of the Indonesian Grand Prix MotoGP class. Behind the Spaniard two other unofficial Ducatis, those of the VR46 team, ridden by Luca Marini and Marco Bezzecchi. Only eighth the Ducati of Francesco Bagnaia.

Jorge Martin is the new leader of the MotoGP World Championship riders thanks to the triumph in the Sprint Race of the Indonesian GP. Now the Spaniard of Ducati Pramac is 7 points ahead of world champion Francesco Bagnaia, eighth at the finish line. The Pramac rider is at the top of the MotoGP riders' standings for the first time in his career. On the podium also the two riders of the Mooney VR46 with Marini second and Bezzecchi third. Fourth Vinales, 5th Quartararo, 6th Di Giannantonio and 7th Bastianini. Marc Marquez crashed on the first lap, while Aleix Espargaró retired after laying Binder.
