ESA's 'The power of game' study on 3,12 players in <> countries (ANSA)

For 7 out of 10 Italians, video games help to combat stress. This was stated by the association that brings together Italian developers I'idea on the basis of a survey conducted in 12 countries by Esa (Entertainment Software Association), to which it is affiliated. In particular, for 58% of Italians who responded to the survey, video games reduce anxiety and 45% loneliness.
The global study 'The power of game' was conducted on a sample of about 13 thousand gamers from 12 countries around the world, including Australia, Brazil, Canada, South Korea, France, Germany, Japan, Great Britain, Poland, Spain, the United States and Italy itself. In Italy, about a thousand gamers were involved who said that video games stimulate the mind (70%), connect different types of people (78%) and create accessible experiences for people with different abilities (75%). In Italy, video games have the effect of "reducing the feeling of stress" (69%), anxiety (58%) and loneliness (45%).
