Netanyahu will also have to be 'held accountable'

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu conceded late Wednesday that he, too, should be "held accountable" for the security "failures" that allowed Hamas' October 7 attack on Israel. "We will look at what happened in detail until the end, the failures will be looked at and everyone will be held accountable, including myself. But all this will take place after the war," the Israeli prime minister said in what appears to be an unprecedented beginning of acknowledgment of his responsibility. "We are preparing for a ground entry" into the Gaza Strip, the head of the Israeli government also confirmed.
