Thousands of Palestinian laborers detained at a facility in Israel since October 7 were returned to Gaza on Friday. This was after the cabinet decided on the matter yesterday.
A statement issued after the cabinet said: "Israel is cutting off all contact with Gaza. There will be no more Palestinian workers from Gaza, and the workers who were in Israel on the day the war broke out will be returned to Gaza." It also stated that "the political-security cabinet has decided to deduct from PA funds all funds earmarked for the Gaza Strip, in addition to a statutory deduction of funds paid to terrorists and their families."
Meanwhile, National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir instructed that the PA stop depositing PA funds to security prisoners in the prison canteen.
