At a time when coupon codes are not an option (at least for many influencers), celebs' Instagram pages have mostly become Israel's public relations room around the world. The person who decided to take her page in a completely different direction, less militant and more romantic, is TV presenter Maya Wertheimer, who recently began posting pictures of men, especially soldiers, looking for love during the war.
On Wednesday, she updated the satisfactory results she has already received as a result of the effort and consistency she has been demonstrating in the matter for many days.
"I just want to tell you that I came out of a Pilates class, about ten girls, I don't know anybody," Wertheimer shared. "At the end of class, one turns to me and says, 'Maya,' and then she tells me about the guy she knew, and I'm very excited. I walk out the door, and then someone else comes up to me and says, 'Maya, you don't understand.' I'm really, really happy. Every day so many people stop me and just tell me about the dates and the guys they knew. They both told me with a smile and glowing eyes, and I hear them and butterflies of excitement start for me too (I get excited with a lot of foreign women like they're my sisters) and it's strange these days to suddenly feel a little butterflies. These are the saddest days in the world and then when you come up to me and tell me that, it makes me happy, so I just wanted to say thank you. Really, really thank you, and what fun."
