IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Herzi Halevy and Shin Bet Chief Ronen Bar entered deep into the Gaza Strip with the fighting forces and assessed the situation on the ground.

"The main strength so far in this war, which I feel all the time, is the partnership," said Lt. Gen. Halevi, "I turn around and see the IDF, in all corners, everyone is doing everything just to make you as strong as possible. There's nothing they won't do to make you work well. Keep going strong, thoroughly, pick up the pace. We're behind you!"
Israel Security Agency head Ronen Bar expressed similar sentiment and praised the fighters. "You have crazy and unprecedented appreciation from the public, the political echelon and Hamas – it's getting better. As a representative of the Shin Bet, we are at war working for the IDF."
