Highlights: Full closure extended: State road between Penzberg and Bichl closed for two weeks longer. The advantage is that it avoids another lockdown next spring. The road closure will remain in effect until Friday, 1 December, on the St2063 between the Maxkron/Schönmühl access road and the Töl 5 district road, which branches off in the direction of Langau. Originally, it was planned to dismantle the temporary bridge in spring 2024. However, if you do it right now, you will save yourself another full closure as well as additional costs.

The full closure on the state road between Penzberg and Bichl will be extended by two weeks. This is announced by the Weilheim State Building Authority.

Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen – The advantage is that it avoids another lockdown next spring. The road closure will therefore remain in effect until Friday, 1 December, on the St2063 between the Maxkron/Schönmühl access road and the Töl 5 district road, which branches off in the direction of Langau. As announced, the road construction work there will be completed next Friday, November 17. Now, however, the State Building Authority is still putting the dismantling of a temporary bridge over the Loisach near Schönmühl on the back burner.

State Road 2063: Closure will remain in effect until Friday, December 1

There was still a window of opportunity for this in the last week of November, according to a statement from the authority. Originally, it was planned to dismantle the temporary bridge in spring 2024. However, if you do it right now, you will save yourself another full closure as well as additional costs for the reinstallation of the detour signs.

As reported, the State Building Authority had replaced the Schögger Bridge near Schönmühl, which dates back to 1954, with a new bridge and in the course of this also renewed the carriageway of the state road 2063.

According to the announcement, the renovation of the footpath and cycle path along the S 2063 as well as a footpath to Rain will follow in the coming year. This would require a half-way closure or narrowing of the road in spring 2024. A temporary facility will be set up in this area for cyclists and pedestrians. (ast)
