A gas leak occurred on a construction site in Hallbergmoos. During the large-scale operation, all adjacent residential properties had to be evacuated.

Hallbergmoos - The accident occurred on Thursday at 8.55 a.m. on a construction site on Pfarrer-Pflügler-Straße in Hallbergmoos. According to the police, an employee damaged a pipe during dredging work, causing a gas leak at the construction site. In addition to officers from the PI Neufahrn, emergency services from the volunteer fire brigades of Hallbergmoos and Goldach also rushed to the scene. They evacuated the neighboring residential buildings as a precaution.

The operator also hurried to turn off the gas supply. Only after the escaped gas had evaporated again and a danger to the people could be ruled out, the affected residents were allowed to return to their homes.
