The alleged perpetrator of the false intrusion alert at the Léonard-de-Vinci high school in Levallois (Hauts-de-Seine) has been arrested. He was taken into custody on Saturday. He is a 17-year-old high school student, but it is not known if he is a student at the school.

"It's still too early to say whether he's the main perpetrator or just involved," said a source close to the case. The school had been targeted on Friday morning by a malicious call announcing the intrusion of armed individuals. The police, who were in the area, had intervened to conduct security checks throughout the institution. The doubt had been quickly dispelled without the need for containment or evacuation.
