(ANSA) - ROME, NOV 11 - Premier Giorgia Meloni doesn't wantto govern but to command with her proposed Constitutional changeto make the Italian premier directly electable by the Italianpeople, centre-left opposition Democratic Party (PD) leader EllySchlein told an anti-government rally in Rome Saturday.
   "The constitutional reform is a weapon of mass distraction,"Schlein told the rally 'For a fairer future, there is analternative'.
   "Tomorrow with this reform it would be one person deciding thevote of parliament, it changes everything, it dismantles theparliamentary republic," Schlein reiterated.
   "Hands off the prerogatives of the President of the Republic, itis a plebiscitary drift.
