On Sunday, the IDF decided to allow passage for the population of the Gaza Strip to exit the Shifaa, Rantisi and Nasser hospitals in the northern Gaza Strip, and to open another route to allow the population of the Gaza Strip to move south for its protection.
The decision follows repeated calls for Gaza residents to evacuate the northern Gaza Strip for their protection, in view of the military activity taking place in the area, since Hamas continues to operate terrorist infrastructure in civilian buildings while cynically exploiting the civilian population. Among the civilian facilities as mentioned above, are hospitals.

In recent days, a senior officer in the Gaza DCO spoke several times with the director of Shifaa Hospital and presented him with possible transit routes from the hospital. IDF forces opened and secured a route that allows the population to move, on foot and with the help of ambulances from Shifaa, Rantisi and Nasser hospitals.
