The Shaldag unit and other special units under the command of the 36th Division operated on Wednesday in a focused manner in the area of Shifa Hospital, where they searched for Hamas infrastructure and terrorist devices.

While entering the hospital area, the fighters encountered a number of terrorists and eliminated them. In searches carried out inside one of the hospital's wards, the fighters located a room containing unique technological means, combat equipment and military equipment used by the terrorist organization.

Another department found an operational headquarters and technological means indicating Hamas' use of the hospital for terrorist purposes. The technological means and the large amount of intelligence information that was located were transferred for examination and exhaustion by the relevant parties.
