Iron Sword War - Day 45: Against the backdrop of reports in the United States of significant progress on the way to an agreement to release the hostages, and after a Hamas-affiliated channel reported that today from 11:00 a.m. there is a lull in the fighting, Israel denies it. At the same time, the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades in Gaza announced around midnight that "some of our prisoners had been transferred to the authorized body." Meanwhile, the northern arena continues to heat up. Throughout the day yesterday, sirens sounded in large areas of the north. Despite the winter weather, fighting continues in Gaza as well. The combat team of the Paratroopers Brigade raided the homes of senior Hamas figures in the Sheikh Ajlin and Rimal neighborhoods.

01:17: The terrorist organization of the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades in Gaza announced around midnight that "some of our captives were transferred to the authorized entity recently, secretly and with complete success." The announcement did not specify whether it was part of any transaction or who the party was.
However, the channel's Telegram channel posted a picture of the security prisoner convicted of murdering Israelis in the second intifada and serving life sentences, Marwan Barghouti.
The latter is considered one of Fatah's most popular figures. A picture of him holding handcuffs was accompanied by the sentence: "We will smash your chains."
