The forces discovered significant and very important information according to which the tunnel shafts in Shifa sit on a Hamas nerve center, that is, on a main artery leading to all kinds of places in the Gaza Strip, and even to many strategic places for Hamas.
The tunnel shafts at Shifa have several directions, and it is possible that so far not everything has been discovered. Therefore, the IDF continues to work on the area and investigate it and the activity carried out there over the years.
Moreover, in the past 24 hours, additional and very significant tunnel shafts have been identified, with the 828th Brigade yesterday locating a shaft in the Zeytoun Mosque and the 924th Brigade locating a shaft in the Beit Hanoun area.

The agreement of the abductees was not finalized yesterday, but the IDF is trying to find solutions that will not delay the deal, while at the same time being aware that they face an unexpected enemy. If the deal is signed, the hostages may return tomorrow, in the hope that the Qatari Foreign Ministry will announce that by 7 a.m. the deal will be implemented.

But then, the IDF did not stop the fighting in Gaza and did not take forces back, but continued the same plan of fighting in Gaza. If a ceasefire goes into effect and terrorists try to attack the IDF force, they will be eliminated on the spot. The forces are alert for any scenario even during the lull.
Regarding the northern arena, it should be noted that the Qatari document does not refer to Hezbollah. The IDF will examine the terrorist organization's activity in Lebanon and its attempts to continue attacking in the north, and will respond accordingly.
