The aunt of Eitan Yahalomi, who was released from Hamas captivity yesterday, told French media that the boy was abused while being held hostage and even beaten by Gazan civilians.

"Hamas forced him to watch videos of horrors that no one wants or needs to see," she explained, referring to videos taken by Hamas terrorists during the October 7th massacre.

"When he arrived in Gaza, everyone beat him, including civilians. We are talking about a 12-year-old boy. In another case, one of the children cried and they threatened him with a weapon to silence him. Maybe I'm naïve, I really wanted to hope that he was treated humanely but apparently not. They are monsters."
