Yair Netanyahu, the son of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, began volunteering with United Hatzalah and was documented at the emergency hotline of the organization's Jerusalem branch.

Singer and songwriter Idan Raichel was not impressed by Yair Netanyahu's decision to volunteer in an emergency and rescue organization: "Since October 7, our heroic soldiers have been fighting in all sectors. Hundreds of them did not return from the fighting. What is this post? Is it supposed to impress anyone that the son of the prime minister of Israel, who hasn't been here all these weeks, came back and lost his life on the phone?"

Netanyahu Jr. returned to Israel last week after a long stay in Miami, Florida, USA.

The prime minister's son returned to Israel after almost eight months abroad and posted an Instagram story in which he wrote, "There is no place like in Israel."
