Serious accident in Judea and Samaria: A man killed and seriously injured were rescued Thursday morning by firefighters in a car accident near the Hashmona'im crossing in Binyamin. This is the second fatality rescued by firefighters in Judea and Samaria in the past 12 hours.

Reshef Kobi Levy, deputy shift commander, said: "Upon arrival at the scene of the accident, we saw two vehicles hitting each other head-on, and inside one of the vehicles two were severely trapped, due to the force of the impact. We immediately began operations to rescue the trapped people, after medical prioritization by the medical forces on the scene. First we rescued the trapped man who was seriously wounded, and then the dead man."

Judea and Samaria District Commander Tafsar Shiko Bar Dov commented on the accident:
"Unfortunately, this is the second fatality rescued by firefighters in the past 12 hours. Last night we worked to rescue the woman killed in a serious car accident at the Petzael junction. On Route 60 in Gush Etzion as well, this week we worked to rescue a fatality as a result of a serious accident.
