A man was killed Thursday afternoon by Hezbollah anti-tank missile fire from Lebanon at the area of Kibbutz Matat.
According to the IDF Spokesperson's Office, terrorists fired an anti-tank missile a short time ago from Lebanese territory at the Matat area. A civilian was injured as a result of the shooting. In addition, a number of additional launches were identified from Lebanese territory towards Israeli territory. Using combat helicopters, tanks and artillery fire, the IDF attacked the sources of fire."
MDA said: "At 14:35 P.M., a report was received at MDA's 101 hotline in the Asher area about an injured man who had been brought to join MDA teams near the Fassuta junction. MDA medics and paramedics report a 60-year-old man with no signs of life and pronounce him dead."
MDA emergency medic Ido Akiva said: The wounded man was brought to us by a military medical force unconscious and suffering from an upper body injury. We performed medical tests and he had no signs of life and we had no choice but to pronounce him dead.
