Sources told Saudi Arabia's Al-Hadath network on Thursday evening that "several senior Hezbollah figures have expressed their dissatisfaction with the performance of the Radwan force in southern Lebanon." As a result, it was reported that Hezbollah may blame the commander of the Radwan unit for the failure to achieve its goals in southern Lebanon.

Since the beginning of the war, Hezbollah has announced dozens of attacks along the northern border, and in several incidents civilians and lone soldiers have been killed. Masses of residents in the north were even forced to evacuate their homes. However, despite the escalation on the front, Hezbollah officially announced 93 dead terrorists, including the son of the parliamentary faction chairman and at least one commander in the Radwan unit.
In early December, Kan News reported that the person conducting Hezbollah's fighting in southern Lebanon was Ibrahim Aqil. He is a senior member of the terrorist organization, and the US State Department has offered a reward of up to seven million dollars to anyone who provides information leading to his arrest. Aqil is a member of Hezbollah's Jihad Council.

Meanwhile, the escalation in the north continues. After a series of Hezbollah attacks on the border, Lebanese media reported a series of attacks in the south of the country. In one case, it was reported that a house in the Lebanese town of Majdal Zun was attacked and ambulances were called to the scene to treat the casualties.
