A surreal sight: residents of the city of Ashdod, surprised to find the evacuation leaflets apparently intended to fall in Gaza and reach the hands of its residents, flying into their hands on the city's promenade. The leaflet in question is the one in which the IDF asks residents of neighborhoods in northern Gaza to evacuate south.

One of the ways the IDF contacted the residents of the Gaza Strip was by dispersing leaflets in neighborhoods. Using the leaflets, they promised a monetary reward and protection to the residents who would provide information about abductees, and in another leaflet they asked them to evacuate to the southern Gaza Strip.
