A video that went viral in recent hours shows an IDF soldier allegedly vandalizing a Gaza store, destroying some of its products and throwing them to the floor. The Palestinian Quds News Twitter page, which posted the video, said the store was located in an area from which residents had been evacuated.
The video drew many angry reactions against Israel, while quite a few Israelis also condemned the video and the soldier's behavior.
An IDF spokesperson said in response to the video: "The soldier's behavior in the video is inappropriate and contrary to IDF values. The case will be investigated and dealt with accordingly. The IDF condemns and condemns such behavior."
