Like many Israeli citizens over the past two and a half months, Ilanit Levy finds it difficult to contain the immense pain of the fierce fighting and the unimaginable number of casualties, and she often shares with her hundreds of thousands of followers the mental difficulty and fears she is experiencing.
On Sunday morning, after we woke up again to the heartbreaking reports of soldiers being killed, Ilanit shared with her 435,<> Instagram followers a screenshot of a news item in which a soldier was quoted as leaving the battlefield and painfully described the reality he discovered outside, where hatred still rages and expressed concern and solidarity with his words.

"Our fighters do not deserve us to return to baseless hatred," she wrote painfully. "That's not why they fight and sacrifice their lives. Let's be worthy. Let's be together and stop the ball of hate," she requested. "I know rain is a blessing," she added in another story, "but all night long I hear the strong raindrops falling and the tears for our abductees who are there alone just fall. God knows in what situation and how they survive it. The tears fall on our warriors, the heroes and the wonderful ones who fight with courage and courage in the rain and cold."
