Explosion in Syria: According to Arab reports in Syria, an airstrike was carried out on Monday in the area of Sayyida Zaynab in southeastern Damascus. This is an area where the pro-Iranian militias are located. Explosions were also reported throughout the capital. Footage circulating on social media showed plumes of smoke from the scene.
Later, an Israeli attack was reported against weapons depots of pro-Iranian militias in the same area.
A radio station affiliated with the Assad regime confirms: "The explosion that took place around Sayyida Zaynab was the result of an Israeli attack on one of the farms near Abu Taleb Street. According to preliminary information, there are casualties and destruction at the site."
