Jordanian MP Khalil Attiyah burned the Israeli flag and stepped on it during a session of the Arab parliament on Thursday.

Atiyya burned the flag in the main hall of the Arab Parliament (the legislative body of the Arab League) in front of the audience. In the footage, he is even seen stepping on the burnt flag to applause.

Following the incident, Israel sent protests to Jordan through diplomatic channels.
