Last Saturday night, Lev Tel Aviv police opened an investigation after receiving a report of a violent incident in which a bus driver was attacked by a passenger. According to the indictment, a 35-year-old Tel Aviv resident boarded the bus while intoxicated and began shouting in a way that frightened the passengers. The driver asked the suspect to calm down, but the driver continued to make noise, causing the driver to stop the bus and ask him to get off. The suspect refused to get out and began cursing at the driver. At the same time, the driver called the police, in response to which the suspect ran to the driver, attacked him in the face and pushed him out of the bus.
The driver, sensing danger, defended himself and began to run away from the suspect, who chased him in the middle of a busy road, pulled out a sharp fist that doubles as an electric shocker, and used it to hit the driver in the face and hand. The driver was injured and taken to hospital for medical treatment, with bruises to his face, torn tendons and deep cuts on his hand.
The suspect, who fled the scene, was arrested shortly after by the police.

His detention was extended from time to time in the Magistrate's Court, and at the end of an accelerated investigation, an indictment was filed against him by the Tel Aviv District Police Prosecution Unit and a request for remand until the end of the proceedings for offenses of wounding while the offender is armed, assault and possession of a fist.
In another violent incident, a man asked the driver on bus 38 towards Petah Tikva to open the door where there is no stop for the line, but the driver refused. The passenger pulled out one of the bus's hammers, broke a window and left.
