Six representatives of the families of the abductees who returned from Qatar are holding a press conference at Tel Aviv's Abductees Square on Sunday.
Daniel Lifshitz, Oded Lifshitz's grandson: In a week we will mark the centenary of the abduction of our loved ones. Our loved ones must not be in Gaza in tunnels, without food, without water, without oxygen. We drove with the understanding that the stalemate in the negotiations was killing the hostages. We worked to meet with senior Qatari government officials. "It was important for them to hear the perspective of the families of the abductees."
Meanwhile, Qatari Prime Minister Al-Thani said this evening that "the killing of Al-Arouri affected the negotiations for the deal, but Qatar continues to mediate between the sides [Israel and Hamas]."
