During the activity of the fighters of the Paratroopers Brigade's combat team, the fighters encountered fire opened at them by terrorists from buildings in the area where they were staying. After tank and airstrikes, the fighters entered the area for surveys. In one of the buildings, the fighters encountered a number of terrorists who had barricaded themselves in the building, in a room next to where they were staying. After striving for contact, in hand-to-hand combat, and after a grenade was thrown at them, the terrorists were eliminated.

During the encounter, seven fighters were wounded by various guests and a sting dog was killed. In addition to the fighting, the fighters located many weapons, grenades and ammunition.
