On January 18, Kfir Bibas will be one year old. The redheaded baby who entered our hearts has reluctantly become a symbol of this war and the terrible tragedy of the abductees in Gaza – and is still a prisoner with his family; His brother Ariel, his mother Shira and his father Yarden.

To mark his birthday, the Movement to Combat Anti-Semitism and Artists for Israel are organizing an art exhibition in Berlin under the chilling title "Brushes for Freedom: An Artistic Tribute to a One-Year-Old Hostage," to be launched on January 18, Kfir's birthday, with the participation of Israeli artists in various fields.

The organizers invite artists from around the world to participate and contribute their works, in order to raise awareness and express unwavering support for the youngest hostage.

Sasha Roitman-Dartwa, Executive Director of the Movement to Combat Anti-Semitism: "What happened on October 7 was the first stage of yet another attempted genocide by the Jewish people. The new exhibition, which will be launched on German soil, in Berlin, will stand as a powerful public rebuke to all those who deny or distort the truth of the terrible crimes committed that day. This is our call to leaders and influential people around the world to exert maximum pressure on Hamas to bring the hostages home."

Artists who wish to participate have until January 15 to submit their artworks with a brief description to: events@combatantisemitism.org
