Children's bicycles, children's games, agricultural equipment, wallets, challah covers and personal items belonging to Nir Oz residents – these are just some of the items that fighters of the 7th Reserve Brigade found over the past two weeks in the village of Khirbet Akhza'a in the southern Gaza Strip, which is only about 3 kilometers from the border.

The details were transferred by the fighters to the responsible bodies in order for them to return them to their owners.

The 5th Brigade, commanded by Col. Tal Kuritzky, initially operated to cleanse the area surrounding the Gaza Strip. Subsequently, it joined the IDF's offensive activity in Beit Hanoun and Khirbet Akhza'a. Last Sunday, after two weeks of fighting, the brigade ended its activity in the Palestinian village after about two weeks of fighting, during which the fighters killed dozens of terrorists and damaged underground infrastructure.
