The tax advisor was detained for questioning as part of a joint investigation by the Central Investigations Assessor and the National Unit for Combating Economic Crime at Lahav 433.
The investigation raises the suspicion that as part of a real estate sale transaction in which the suspect was involved, he was created capital gains tax and a debt to pay. The debt was not paid by him and a lien was placed on his bank account.

The suspect contacted the Real Estate Tax Office and presented a forged reserve permit in order to remove the foreclosure, in accordance with the Tax Authority's guidelines regarding enforcement procedures against reservists during the war. The foreclosure was lifted, but after an examination and suspicion that the document was forged, the foreclosure was reinstated.
As part of the investigation, the home and offices of the tax advisor were searched in order to seize the forged document. At this time, the investigation is ongoing.
