The selection of names revealed on Thursday is deliberately designed to appeal to young voters: Rosalía, Måneskin, Angèle and Stromae are among the most popular artists of the moment, with a strong following on social media that Brussels hopes to use to spread awareness about the continental elections. Also because in 4 countries - Germany, Malta, Austria and Belgium - to vote in the European elections it will be enough to be 16 years old and not eighteen.
