In December 2020, Christelle Hess and Lucas Griffon quit their jobs in finance and launched Smartworkout, a company specializing in the sale of bodybuilding elastics. A way for them to offer an alternative to the gym to those who can't find the time to go. Three years later, their TikTok account has more than 100,000 subscribers and more than 30 million video views.

I genuinely believe that strong interaction with the community is as vital as the TikTok content itself.» In his videos, he offers content that is both fun and educational. He also collaborates with several creators who stage themselves using his rubber bands, and sponsors this content via paid advertising.
