?

Throughout the West, but especially in the "Anglosphere", people are used to seeing coercion only as something emanating from governments.
This is a poor vision of tyranny, and it completely fails to describe our current reality: in fact, we are also drowning in coercion in the private sector, in our lives as workers and consumers.
And precisely because our dominant neoliberal ideology treats these areas of life as “private,” we often cannot challenge the coercion we face using politics…
