The bestseller “Harry Potter” by Joanne K. Rowling, which has already been a hit in the cinema, is being adapted as a series.
The start date of the fantasy film adaptation is now official.
For a long time it remained unclear when the “Harry Potter” series would start.
While films are gradually disappearing from streaming offerings, there is a ray of hope at the end of the tunnel for fans of the books.
Almost a year ago, Warner Bros. Discovery announced the production of a series about the magic student.
But the premiere date remained uncertain for a long time.

As part of the quarterly results reporting, David Zaslav, CEO of Warner Bros. Discovery, revealed that the “Harry Potter” series will launch on HBO Max in 2026.

there are some well-known names from the film and series industry to choose from, whose previous work already gives a first impression of what could be expected.
Among the potential candidates are Michael Lesslie, known for “The Hunger Games,” Martha Hillier, known for “The Last Kingdom,” Kathleen Jordan, who worked on “Teenage Bounty Hunters,” and Tom Moran, who worked for “The Devil's Hour” was responsible.
The series, like the films, tells the story of the seven books and follows Harry through his years at Hogwarts and his increasingly dangerous battle against He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named, along with Hermione, Ron and their allies.
