14 commercial and industrial companies from Oman participate in Damascus International Fair

DAMASCUS, (SANA) - 14 Omani companies participated in the pavilion of the Omani Chamber of Commerce and Industry at the Damascus International Fair

14 Omani companies participating in the stand of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Sultanate of Oman at the 61st Damascus International Fair showcasing a variety of products to which the Sultanate is famous, most of which are participating for the first time.

A number of representatives of Omani companies confirmed to SANA the importance of their participation to introduce the products of their companies, especially those specialized in manufacturing building materials and energy.These companies are looking for promising opportunities to be present in the Syrian market during the reconstruction phase, in addition to the presence of other companies specialized in food production.

Essa Al Maskari, Director of Business Development at Voltamp Energy Company, said: “Participation in the Damascus International Fair is very important to introduce the company, which is specialized in manufacturing a variety of power transformers and distribution, pointing out to the company's desire to participate in the reconstruction of Syria, especially that the projects related to electricity are important projects in This stage of Syria after its victory over terrorism, so the company can find promising opportunities in the Syrian market in this area.

With great satisfaction and optimism among the representative of Muscat Steel Industry Hussein Al-Moussawi that since the first day the company succeeded in introducing the products of its four factories specialized in the manufacture of marble and iron smelting and the withdrawal of construction iron and plastic industry, which promises positive results pointing to the distinctive atmosphere of the Damascus International Fair of organization and wide variety.

Mohammed Ahmed Jaaboub of Oman Vegetable Oils and Derivatives Company highlighted the importance of their participation in the exhibition in terms of introducing the company's products and promoting them and finding opportunities to market them in the Syrian market, describing the exhibition as one of the big markets in the Arab world, pointing out that it is the first participation of the company in the exhibition which brings together a large number of companies Different states.
