Gold prices fell for the fourth consecutive session today.
Reuters reported that gold fell in spot transactions by 0.6 percent to 1490.10 dollars an ounce, while lost in futures transactions in the United States 0.8 percent to reach 1498.50 dollars an ounce.
In other precious metals, platinum fell 1.2 percent to $ 935.20 an ounce, while palladium dropped to $ 1,542.34.
Silver lost 0.2 percent to $ 17.92 an ounce.
