The Central Bank of Syria confirmed that the reporting of its procedures and decisions and the bulletin of exchange rates are done only through its official website and page on the social networking site “Facebook” and has nothing to do with any other sites or pages.
In a statement published on his Facebook page, the bank explained that some social networking sites have been publishing during the past period false and false news that falls within the framework of the campaign of confusion and incitement launched on the bank and fueling the foreign exchange market and misleading dealers with false news about the exchange rates service to speculators on the Syrian pound .
The bank considered that the news mentioned serve only the interest of those behind it, whether inside or outside Syria, stressing that it is not responsible for any news contained on those pages, sites and applications that have recently used a forged bulletin exchange rate stamped with the seal of the bank and a phone number belonging to him. All legal procedures against these sites and applications and those who support them and deal with them in coordination with the competent authorities.
At the end of the statement, the bank stressed that it is the only source authorized to issue official exchange rate bulletins once again ready to receive complaints and inquiries on the numbers published on the official website or on the official Facebook page on the website.
